Mammas's Story

Meet Mamas (aka Pippy, Pip-Pip, Pip, or Pipsqueak), a Whitman house fire survivor. She is about 2-3 years old, has her first set of vaccinations on board, and she will be spayed.

This beautiful little girl is a Chihuahua, or maybe a mix, but she is for sure an absolute angel. She is so sweet, and while it will take her a bit to warm up to any doggie pals you might have, she will warm up to people immediately. She really wants a person to snuggle up with. Having said that, she is also fine if you leave her alone.

She LOVES to sleep. Then, when you wake her up, she rolls over right away for the belly scritches. She sleeps in bed with you, but never crowds, and she is happy to prance around the house like your shadow.

She is afraid of the leash still, but with some coaxing will walk a little bit on it. Mostly just to go back in the house. She is however, fully puppy pad trained. She hasn't had one accident off of a puppy pad. Oh, and she is a champion car-rider. She wears her little harness, gets in her seatbelt, and you never hear a word from her. She's also happy to be carried around in her pet backpack.

If you think this lovebug would be a great addition to your family, please fill out the pre-adoption form at:
https://www.yavapaihumanetrappers.org/preadoption-form
