10/28/25- Sioux x Quinnault No MC CN ***** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NOW ***** Intact female 1yr old 55 pounds Vaccines given 10-28-25 No microchip ALT ID# 12-12-25 28 Intake notes: Friendly pup, walks on leash, needs some behavior training, will jump on people and is mouthy which needs behavior correcting NOT GOOD WITH CATS Behavior Observation notes: Very jumpy, playful, can be touched head to tail, pulls hevaily on leash, and is non reactive to passing other dogs. *****Animals are eligible for adoption by the public after their stray hold period. Rescues are permitted to pull NOW; animal is also legally available for euthanasia on this same date. AVAS will continue to follow the protocols in place for the health/safety of the animals in our care. The canine population currently in our care that are not showing symptoms will be posted on our website for public viewing. Canines will continue to be monitored by our medical staff under the direction of our supervising Veterinarian. Apple Valley Animal Services's Adoption Policy
An adoption application is filled out and approved. Potential adopters meet with the pet/pets they are interested in. If they have pets that can be brought into the shelter for a "meet & greet" with the shelter animal we encourage that to ensure there shouldn't be any major incidents and the pets can cohabitate peacefully. Once the adoption paperwork is completed the adopted pet receives a rabies vaccine and microchip prior to going home with the adopter of being sent for alteration.
