Mama Dough came to us as a total stray with her nine puppies and has been doing her very best to learn what it means to be safe, loved, and cared for. All of her light-colored pups inspired the "bread litter" name, and Mama Dough is the heart of it all. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and people-oriented, forming strong bonds with those she trusts. Her loyalty shines through, and with time, she will be an amazingly devoted companion.<br/><br/>Because she spent time surviving on her own, Mama Dough will need a patient home that understands she's still learning. A securely fenced yard is required for adoption, as she is always on the lookout for an exit. She will benefit from continued training and structure. She's thriving in her foster home, sleeps great in her crate at night, and loves getting cozy, though she's still learning to be comfortable being crated during the day. She walks well on a leash, and her neighborhood walks are definitely her favorite part of the day!
