Mama dog's Story

Mama dog was found abandoned and it was discovered she was not only pregnant, but heartworm positive as well. Her babies were all adopted and she was treated for her medical needs. She is now ready to find a home of her own. Mama is around 4 years old.

Mama is good with people and very lovable, but she must be an only dog. We don’t blame her, because we don’t know much about her life previously. She loves to go for rides and is very talkative. Mama will need continued training to learn how to be a family pet. She is still learning how to walk on a leash. Mama just needs someone to give her a chance to learn what love is. We believe that every dog has a perfect home out there somewhere! Help us find a family for Mama!

Adoption fee: $85

Applications: www.maxshope.com

Please include your veterinarian name, number and the name your current pets are listed under. Also please check your information carefully. All current pets must be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Dogs must be on heart worm preventative. Our adoptable cats must live inside and adopters must agree not to declaw. If these criteria are not met, we will not process your application.

Adoption Process: This is not a first come, first serve organization. We will do our best to process applications within 48 business hours of receiving them. The application must be completed in full including first and last name, complete address including city and state, complete veterinarian information (this will be checked and all pets must be neutered or spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and dogs must be current on heartworm prevention) and the name of all current pets in the household. We are 100% volunteers and I will not subject anyone who is giving of themselves and their time to hostile conversations. Please be patient with us. We are not paid for our endless hours and are looking for the BEST home for the babies in our care. We will process your information and an email will be sent to the email you provide on the application.
