Mallory's Story
Mallory is around 3 years old, 60 lbs and is as gentle as they come, but the world can feel a little overwhelming to her at times. She’s especially nervous in new environments and will need a patient, understanding home that will give her the time and space to decompress at her own pace. Mallory isn’t the kind of dog who will open up overnight, but for the right person, the reward of earning her trust will be incredibly special. She has done well with other dogs and may benefit from a calm, confident canine companion to help her feel more secure. Because of her tendency to get scared and want to run, Mallory will need to be kept on a leash when outside unless she is safely contained in a secure yard. We recommend a dog door as well, as she does like spending time outside when she wants. With patience, consistency, and a quiet home, Mallory has so much love to give. She just needs someone willing to go slow, meet her where she’s at, and show her that the world isn’t such a scary place. Give us a call or PM if you would like to meet her.
