F - 1 year old - German Shepherd/Australian Cattledog Mix -<br/><br/>Mallory is a fun-loving, highly intelligent girl who thrives when she’s active and engaged. She already knows sit, down, and wait, is leash trained, and is both dog- and cat-friendly. She’s also done beautifully with young kids, earning herself a gold star in the “family-friendly” department.<br/><br/>But like many smart dogs, Mallory has a stubborn streak and a mischievous side. She can be particular about strangers on walks and is very anxious at the vet (but mild sedatives have helped her stay calm), and she’s not above stealing a shoe or shredding a cardboard box when bored. She may also be an escape artist. Her previous family surrendered her because she could not be confined to their property, so a secure yard and attentive supervision will be a must.<br/><br/>Mallory loves attention, so much so that she can get a little frustrated if you don't oblige! She gets along with other dogs but doesn’t always have perfect social skills, so slow introductions are best. She’s happiest when she can be both indoors with her people and outdoors for adventures.<br/><br/>ADOPT<br/>To adopt, come see us!
