I'm a sweet Lab mix who came all the way from a very full shelter in Alabama, where there just aren't enough adopters for all the wonderful dogs waiting for homes. Thankfully, K-9 Lifesavers came to my rescue, and now I'm safe and ready for the best part of my journey — finding a forever family of my very own! Let me tell you a little about myself. I'm a super friendly girl who loves people, and if you're willing to give me a good belly rub, we're going to get along just fine! I'm also great with other dogs and would be happy to have some canine friends in my life. I'm spayed, ready to go, and have so much love to give. I did test positive for heartworms, but don't worry, K-9 Lifesavers will cover my treatment. I think I'd make a pretty wonderful addition to just about any home — all I need is someone to give me the chance! So, what do you say? Could I be your new best friend? Apply today and let's start our happily ever after!

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.org

SPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives! Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Donations help us offset boarding costs and additional medical treatment for those dogs who need it. K-9 Lifesavers receives NO federal funding and survive with your generous support! We are all volunteer based organization so every cent from your donation goes directly to the dogs in our care.
