Malia's Story

This stunning German Shepherd pup is a big, beautiful girl, but still has baby teeth so she's probably only about 3 1/2 months old and we're guessing she will mature at 70-80 pounds. She's a sweet, social girl and craves attention and human interaction.

Malia and her sister were found as babies, abandoned in an orchard. They were taken in by rescue angels who have cared for them, but there was nowhere for them to go. Shepherds became extremely popular because they are so intelligent, trainable, loyal and affectionate, but anytime a breed becomes popular, they also end up in great need. People get them, but don't put in the exercise, time and training to bring out their best and they end up abandoned in huge numbers.

Applications at:

http://dogwoodanimalrescue.org/adoption-application-dogs/

You can follow us on social media at:

https://.www.instagram.com/dogwoodanimalrescue/
https://.www.facebook.com/.DogwoodAnimalRescue/

Making a difference, one animal at a time.
