We have a 10 month old male yorkie, in the process of being neutered and up to date on shots.  He is about 5 pounds. Photo to follow shortly.  Very happy and playful.  We are in the process of determining whether he is housetrained.  We have been told he goes on piddle pads, but may need some retraining in a new environment, as with most dogs. He is in foster care and being analyzed for any behavorial issues.  We are considering applicants in south Jersey only.  A home visit is required as well as vet references.  If you have other pets, they must be of the same size.  We prefer our yorkies to be placed in homes where someone is home most or part of the day and not left alone for 8 hours while you are at work. We don't feel it is fair for any dog to hold a full bladder for that long. Most dogs need companionship and can become depressed being left alone for long hours every day. We are looking for a home with a fully-fenced yard, as yorkies tend to chase critters and will bolt. If you have an above or inground pool, it must have a gate as well.
