Malcolm's Story

Malcolm is a big, goofy boy with an even bigger heart. When he first arrived at the shelter, he surprised everyone-while most dogs "announce" themselves, Malcolm was more interested in quietly observing the world around him. His calm, thoughtful vibe earned him the nickname Mellow Yellow from the kennel staff.
But don't let that mellow introduction fool you-Malcolm is full of happy energy and pure joy. He absolutely wants to be with his people, and staff and volunteers can't help but smile when he's just being his wonderfully goofy self.
He loves sticks, digging up interesting smells, and chasing toys. When he tries to catch a tossed toy, he misses more often than he grabs it-which somehow makes it even more charming. And when he runs after a ball, he lumbers and clumps along like an oversized puppy... beyond adorable and impossible not to laugh at.
Malcolm is simply a happy, lovable boy ready to bring his big heart and puppy-like spirit into a home of his own.
