Mal's Story

Mal has spent the majority of their lives in a shelter before coming to us. As a result he is under socialized with people. Thru dedication and patience he is now house trained, kennel trained and will take treats from his fosters hand. He's still a bit hand shy but like pets now and then, and isnt a lap dog but has potential. He's about 7mo old and probably close to fully grown. We don't know his breed mixes but whatever they are is not camera friendly. He has a beautiful coat that the camera doesnt capture.
He and his bothers are currently fostered together and therein lies the issue. They rely on each other a lot. We believe that they have reached their potential in their current environment and would greatly benefit from being split up.
Will this potentially cause set backs? Probably. Is it work? Sure is. But is it necessary and the most beneficial route in the long run for these boys? Absolutely!
They have come so far. Their first night in foster care was spent outside because they were to scared to come inside and so scared of human touch their foster couldn't catch them.
Now, they willingly come inside, come when called and will take treats from their foster.
Fenced yards and homes with other dogs for them to learn from preferred. These special boys deserve the same chance as everyone other pup and kitten.
Available for foster or foster to adopt.
