MAKO's Story
Mako came to the shelter as a stray on 9/30 and, despite having a microchip, we were unfortunately unable to reach his owner after his second impound. He is a young, energetic terrier with a very affectionate personality who loves being close to his people and enjoys playing with other dogs. Mako balances his playful side with an impressive off-switch, as he can sit quietly for long periods in the car without barking or whining. He is housebroken and crate trained, friendly with other dogs, and has been around cats (though not left unattended). His previous owner reported he did well with a 7-year-old child, though this hasn’t been re-confirmed in foster. Mako would be a great match for an active home looking for a loving, fun-spirited companion.
