Mako had a horrific life if only he could talk … right down to his former name bubblegum. <br/>He found himself at a shelter with an injury months old requiring an amputation. Imaging life in a loud shelter, losing ur leg, so scared the only thing he can think to do was lash out. The shelter made him rescue ONLY, due to behavior. His amazing foster pawrents quickly stepped up. Theses are the best little dog fosters one can find, lucky Mako got a brand new name for his brand new life. He’s learning to “dog” and trust people. He’s also slowly gaining weight as u could see all his bones, he was having trouble getting around since he didn’t get any rehab post op. Now Mako runs, plays, seeks human attention….
