Hello, pals! I'm Major, a spirited 9-year-old Pit Bull Mix tipping the scales at 49.4 pounds. Despite my seasoned age, I'm bursting with playful pittie energy that will keep you on your toes!
I owe a huge shout-out to my Wish Bone family for giving me a second chance at happiness. Life threw some curveballs my way when I was surrendered to Chicago Animal Control in July due to my owner's passing. It's been a whirlwind of changes, but I face it all with a wagging tail. I'm a friendly, outgoing, and happy pup, though I do have a penchant for keeping things on the quiet side.
In my previous home, I coexisted with another female dog, but introductions with new furry friends should be slow and playtime carefully monitored to ensure everyone's comfort.
Treats? Count me in! I'm a pro at taking treats from my human pals, boast impressive leash manners, and maintain a tidy kennel. What can I say? I'm a catch!
Now, I'm on the lookout for my forever family. My adoption fee is sponsored for an approved adopter. There is a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents. I can't wait to share all my love and energy with my new forever home!
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
