This handsome puppy is Major! He is around 6-8 months old and was rescued from a hoarding situation and brought to the Franklin Township Animal Shelter. Major is believed to be a shepherd mix and is projected to be a medium to large-sized dog when fully grown. He is a sweet, but shy boy who takes a bit of time to warm up to people he hasn’t met. Major would do best in a home with older children who would not overwhelm him. Because he’s a puppy, he may probably acclimate to a home with cats. He may also enjoy a canine companion, but would have to meet them prior to adoption. His $80 adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccinations.
