Meet Major
Major is two-and-a-half years old. He is a fun-loving boy that gets along well with other dogs. He is house and crate trained, rides well in the car, and has good behavior.
Before Major landed in rescue, he’d already had two homes where nothing went as planned. As a young adult, he went from what he thought was a forever relationship to a home where he felt unwanted and definitely unloved because they kept him in a small crate and often forgot he needed food or water. When animal control stepped in, he discovered he didn’t have to be hungry or thirsty anymore and he could stretch his legs!
Despite being neglected in a crate, he realized he could also be fed, watered, and safe there. Instead of being lonely he gets human attention and has doggy playmates. Major is a two-year-old Pyrenees/husky mix just made to enjoy cold weather. He hadn’t had the benefit of much training or exercise, but he’s eager to make up for lost time. He’s friendly to people and other dogs and completely crate trained. Although he gets along with other dogs, wild games aren’t his thing and he’s more happy hanging out with a human.
