Major's Story

?ADOPT MAJOR?
M | 1Y | MIXED BREED | TO BE NEUTERED | Will be UTD on shots | Housebroken | Crate Trained | Good with dogs | Cat tested | Not kid tested | Fostered in Welland, ON

Are you ready to have a MAJOR-ly good boy in your life? Major is an energetic, happy-go-lucky boy who loves to play and nap with his humans. He loves when his humans are home, but does just as well in the crate if his humans need to go to work.

The only thing he might love more than his humans are his toys - he loves chewing on them! Because of his enthusiastic energy, puzzles as well as mental and physical stimulation would go a long way to make this boy happy. He loves going on long walks with his humans - hiking would be even better!

Major is an expert at taking treats gently and is also learning which objects at home are toys and which ones aren't. He has also made lots of progress in his training and is very comfortable in his crate. On walks, Major may pull at the leash to go to different patches of grass. But who could blame him when there are so many curious new smells and sights?

Major is currently living in a foster home with a feline sibling. He has been very good in learning how to co-exist with cats. Major may do well in a home with dog-savvy cats with the proper introductions and boundaries put into place. Major has not met any children. He may do well with older kids due to his excitable nature. Major hasn met other dogs and may do well with another dog in the home to keep him company, as long as proper introductions are made. Major may take a little while to warm up to new people, but slow introductions are the best way for him to open up!

If you're looking for a pup who loves to play but also likes to lie back and relax, then Major is the dog for you! He's such a good boy and would be a wonderful addition to any loving family.

Adopt now -> https://www.barkatthemoonrescue.ca/dog-adoption-application
