Maize's Story

Maize came to us fearful and very skinny. She wasn't comfortable with people but showed interest in the other dogs around. Maize is now in a foster and thriving! She's still timid and will take time to warm up and trust people but will do awesome with time. She made quick friends with the dog in the home and warming up slowly to the cat. Maize will need a yard with a very secure fence or someone who will have her on a leash for potty breaks. She is a Shepard mix so once she comes out of her shell, she'll need an active person to help burn off some of that puppy energy. Maize is incredibly smart and has caught on to her basic obedience without hesitation. This little girl will sit, lay down, shake and come already!
