Maisy's Story

I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereMeet Maisy, a 4-year-old, 61-pound shepherd mix whose gentle heart shines brighter every day. She arrived shy and unsure, but she’s quickly revealed her sweet, patient nature.

On leash, she trots politely at your side, checking in with soft eyes, and exploring the world with quiet curiosity. Volunteers rave about her manners: she takes treats with the gentlest mouth, leans her head into your lap, and proudly shows off her “sit” and “paw.” As she warms up, she noses your hand for more pets, offering her paw and staying close for calm companionship.

Now in a foster home, Maisy is proving to be an easy, lovable housemate. She’s already housetrained and wonderful with the resident dogs, inviting them to play with enthusiastic play bows. Sensitive but steady, sweet but not pushy, playful yet gentle, Maisy is the whole package. With a little patience and a lot of love, she’s blossoming into a devoted, joyful companion.

Follow her in foster with @lucky_and_rangers_foster_palson Instagram, and click here to learn how to adopt and submit your adoption questionnaire.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Anna’s Fosters (@lucky_and_rangers_foster_pals)
