Maisy's Story

Maisy is absolutely adorable! She loves treats and toys and wants to be your new best friend. She isn't always sure about new people and might bark at first, but if you give her a chance to get to know you she is a bouncy, playful girl with love to give! KNOWN WITH DOGS: Maisy engages in chase play and some wrestling with dogs that match her style but she can play too rough for some dogs and needs some guidance on when to take breaks. KNOWN WITH CATS: We do not currently know how they are with cats. If that is needed, let us know and we'll work on getting that information! KNOWN WITH KIDS: We are not sure how they do with kids. KNOWN COMMANDS: Maisy knows a lot of commands, we're still learning which ones she knows well. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Maisy does well in her Kennel at the Trails Home Farm, we don't know her level of crate training. SFC Virginia's Adoption Policy

Our adoptions process is designed to get animals out of shelters and into happy adoptive homes in a streamlined, efficient manner. All of our available animals are highlighted on our website and on petfinder. Simply contact us at adoptme@sfcva.org or fill out a non-binding adoption application for an animal at www.sfcva.org. We have events every weekend. Event listings can be found on our facebook page, facebook.com/squishyfacecrewva. Most of our adoptable animals are adopted at these events. 1) Apply Online at SFCVA.org 2) Meet + Greet OR Come to an Event! 3) Adopt! Our application fees are as follows: Kittens: $150 ($75 for a second kitten) Puppies under 6 months: $350 Adult Dogs: $250 Cats: $125 All pets are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption.
