Maisie's Story

Wow, Maisie is stunning! She is estimated to be about 3 years old and weighs 48 pounds,

Meet Maisie, a gorgeous girl with a gentle personality who is hoping to find her forever companion. She has a soft and affectionate nature, always eager to please. Maisie is a quick learner and seems to have a high level of intelligence, showcasing her herding and working breed traits. She is attentive and responsive to her handler, with a keen focus that is truly impressive! Maisie knows some basic commands and has a gentle mouth release when playing fetch with a tennis ball, her favorite game! She is also a pro at "drop," showing off her good manners. Her new family should be prepared to provide mental stimulation and plenty of exercise to keep her happy and healthy. With her gentle spirit and affectionate nature, Maisie would make a loyal and loving friend for an experienced adopter who understands the unique needs of working breeds. She can be a little submissive though and quick movements can cause her to be hesitant, so some confidence building for her would be wonderful too. Maisie would love it if you came to meet her, she can't wait for a forever family. She will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old.

If you are interested in Maisie and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
