MAGPIE's Story
Meet Magpie!

Magpie is a super cute, black-and-white baby girl with a heart as big as her puppy eyes! At about 2 months old, this little lady is full of wiggles, curiosity, and playful puppy energy. She came to us with 10 siblings, and she’s been charming everyone she meets ever since.

Our best guess is that Magpie is a pitty/Lab mix, but that’s just an educated guess—we can’t guarantee breed or adult size. Based on what we see now, she could grow to be around 30 lbs or more, but it’s all an estimate and part of the puppy surprise!

Magpie is very outgoing, loves to play, and is always eager to explore the world around her. She’s the kind of puppy who will happily bounce into new adventures and then curl up for a well-earned nap. Because she’s still a baby, she’ll need supervision around young children and cats, and she’ll benefit greatly from puppy obedience classes to help her grow into a polite, confident adult.

Like all puppies, Magpie will need housebreaking, training, patience, and lots of love—but she promises to repay you with endless kisses, tail wags, and laughter.

If you’re ready for the joyful (and occasionally chaotic!) adventure of raising a puppy, Magpie might just be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. My adoption fee is $250.
