Magnolia's Story
Meet Magnolia—Mags for short! She’s a 25–30 lb mixed-breed, about 2–3 years old, with a sweet personality and a brave past. Mags was found at a construction site caring for her three newborn puppies all on her own, and now that her little family is safe, she’s ready to find a home where she can finally relax and be loved.

Mags has a medium-to-high energy level and enjoys playing with other dogs, exploring, chewing on toys, and soaking up all the cuddles she can get. She’s great with adults and kids but is still learning some manners. She would fit right into a family that can give her both fun and affection.

She’s still learning some basic manners, but she’s smart, motivated, and eager to make her people happy. She is working on leash manners as she gets overly excitable and wants to say hi. With a bit of guidance, she’ll be a total champ.

If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and resilient companion, Mags is ready to meet you. She is accepting applications outside of radius, which means for the right home, if you are willing to meet and finalize the adoption in Chicago, you are eligible. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heart worm negative and microchipped. If you have any questions prior to applying please email adopt@chicagorescueauthority.org.
