She’s the kind of dog that will keep you smiling every single day.<br/><br/>The good stuff:<br/><br/>✔️ Completely potty trained (and dog door trained!)<br/>✔️ Crate trained and quiet when crated<br/>✔️ Great with other dogs<br/>✔️ Walks well on a leash<br/>✔️ Car rides are improving every day<br/>✔️ Food motivated and eager to learn<br/><br/>What she needs:<br/>Magic MUST have another dog in the home—this is not optional. She gains confidence from other dogs and truly thrives with a companion to follow and learn from, whether they’re young or old.<br/><br/>A securely fenced yard is also required so she can safely zoom, play, and continue building confidence.<br/><br/>A few things to know:<br/>Magic can come off timid, but she’s much braver than she lets on. She’s likely learned that acting shy gets her out of trouble—but she’s a very capable, intelligent girl who will keep growing with the right guidance.<br/><br/>She does well with respectful children, but like many young dogs, she shows affection by gently mouthing hands (and sometimes toes if you’re laying down). It’s all love—just needs a little redirection.<br/><br/>The fun stuff:<br/>She loves to play, enjoys a good cuddle, and has the cutest little prance when she’s proud of herself—which happens often.<br/><br/>Magic is truly a special girl who just needs someone willing to give her a chance and continue showing her the world isn’t so scary.<br/><br/>And once she picks you—you’re hers. 🖤<br/><br/>🐾 Adoption Info:<br/>All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/ neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped prior to adoption.<br/>Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following:<br/>All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation.<br/>All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations.<br/>All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention.<br/>Past dogs listed on the application must also show a consecutive history of heartworm prevention.<br/>To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here:<br/>- https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog<br/><br/>Please also take a moment to read our requirements located in the application.<br/>Please note:<br/>The dog you're applying for might already have a meet-and-greet scheduled, be on a trial with another family, or has been offered to another rescue within our network Don't worry though - we're always happy to help you find another great match if that happens!
