Maggie (Meg)'s Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Say hello to beautiful Maggie (Meg)!!

Maggie is full of personality and full of energy! She will thrive with a family who can keep her busy and continue with her training as she settles into her new home. She does enjoy being with her people and would probably prefer a home where she is not left alone for extensive periods of time.

Maggie falls in love with everyone she meets! She wants to be the center of attention and is very respectful for people. She is a bit on the sensitive side, but I can promise you she will pour her entire heart into whatever she is doing. Maggie is quick, athletic, with springs in her feet and she picks up on skills quickly! She would probably do well in an agility class or as a running partner.

Maggie would do well with kids over the age of 12 due to her size and strength. She would do best as an only dog, or with a calmer, more mature housemate who can let her know when it’s time to stop playing. Maggie has met lots of dogs and does enjoy playing one on one. But she would not be a good confidante for a daycare or dog park setting. Her favorite way to play? Watch how fast I run!!!

Maggie has a high prey drive, so she's not good with cats or other small animals. She is crate trained, potty trained and working on her manners with her foster mom! â–o We do not adopt to Canada due to border restrictions and breed-specific legislation â–o We adopt & foster locally only ; within an approximately 55 mile radius of Lockport, NY 14094 USA
Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, deworming & flea treatment. 12/13/25 8:19 AM
