Maggie May-- SPONSORED's Story

Meet Miss Maggie May. Maggie is a 7yr old Beagle mix and weighs approximately 30lbs. She is heartworm negative, fully UTD on vaccines, and spayed.

Miss Maggie May is going to need a VERY special home. She was abused as a puppy before being rescued at just over a year old. For the past 6 years she has lived with a single lady who she trusted very well until her owner became ill and unable to care for her. She is going to need a super quiet home because she becomes overstimulated very easily. Maggie would not do well in a home with children or loud dogs as she will nip at them when she becomes overwhelmed with noise and fast movements. Maggie would do best in a home with a single elderly lady. She has a hard time trusting men, so she must go to a female only home. At the center she seems to be ok with the cats and small calmer dogs.

Maggie was fully housebroken in her home, but has fallen back a little bit being boarded for 3 weeks before coming to us. With regular potty breaks, she will pick potty training right back up.

Adoption fee: SPONSORED

Applications: www.maxshope.com

Please include your veterinarian name, number and the name your current pets are listed under.
