Maggie Mae - Va's Story

Meet Maggie Mae
I am a single senior 7 + brindle. female. My health is good for my age. I do have the beginnings of cataracts in both of my eyes and most of my teeth are broken.

I was transported to Virginia from Georgia for some R&R ( Rest and Recovery much needed).

I'm a sweet Georgia peach who was found as a stray and taken to a shelter where I was fully vetted and a much needed spay. I was pulled by a nice person who wanted nothing but the best for me. So I found myself with my foster parents who absolutely adore me. They say I have blossomed into a true velcro pup, attached at the hip. I have to be constantly around you. I enjoy snuggles on the couch with you, I require a bed on the floor where you sleep. Your personal space is my space. I do suffer from separation anxiety but foster mom and I have been working on it. I've been left alone for 5 hours with no issues (of course it may take a little time to adjust at my new home) I don't like being crated but I have an escape proof crate the size of a small piece of furniture which I can bring with me if you think you need it. (But if you work from home or are retired we won't need it.)
I have some trust issues with men but once I know them I am fine with them (we're working on it) I am not 100% house trained but will let you know I need to go out. By the way I prefer to potty off leash, so if you have a fenced yard that's perfect, if not please stay outside with me. (Foster mom started me with a 15 foot training leash, it works. But I don't stray to far from you)

My best qualities are I ignore cats, love kids, do well with other dogs and I walk like a dream on a leash. I have no food aggression and no motivation for treats when it comes to the crate.I ride well in the car too. I'd love to be your new best friend. I'm being fostered in Culpeper Virginia
Please contact my foster mom
Lynn at tennesseewalkr@aol.com
