Maggie Mae's Story

Meet Maggie Mae! She's on the hunt for her forever home! She's been described as friendly and excitable.

Maggie is housetrained and is used to going out on a consistent schedule. She is comfortable being kenneled when people are around but tends to bark when left alone. Maggie loves bones, chew toys, and digging holes!

Maggie has lived with other dogs and seems to be selective about whom she wants to be friends with. We recommend a dog-on-dog meet-and-greet for potential adopters with resident dogs at home. Ask staff for details! We are unsure how she would do around cats or young children. All introductions should be slow and proper when bring new animals home. Ask staff for tips!

Maggie Mae would love to have durable toys to chew on and keep them entertained. Patient and consistent training using treats is a good way to work on obedience cues. Ask a TCHS staff about suggestions for the perfect toy for your new friend from the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe.

Maggie Mae has tons of kisses to share. Come meet her today!

*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.

**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
