My name is Maggie Mae. I am a 5 month old Shar-Pei/Chow. I weight 37 pounds. My doctor says I am 75% grown. I will not get very tall. I was born on July 30th. My mother was a shar -pei and my dad was a chow. I have a brother and a sister, but they were adopted. We were born into bad conditions. Our mother was heartworm positive and has a bad gash on her. My siblings and I were in good health other than having lots of fleas. We got rid of our fleas and on heartworm prevention medicines and were adopted. My current owner has a 2 year old dog that does not like me very well. I hear that I am stressing her out. My current mom thinks I will do better in another home where I can be loved for who I am. I am very loving to my owners, but I am also very protective of them. If a stranger comes to your house, I will sure let you know. I would love to have another dog for a playmate. I am good with kids and cats. I am crate trained. I will also go on a wee wee pad if it is raining. I am still learning to walk on a leash. I have lots of puppy energy. I can go real strong for a while, but then poop out and just chill. I would love to meet you to see if you can be my forever family.
