Maggie's Story

Meet our newest resident, Maggie! Maggie is an 8 year old Pitbull who came to us due to no fault of her own, when her owner had to go into assisted living. She is a very sweet girl, good with other dogs (but rowdy and playful --- may be a better match for other medium or large breed dogs). We are unsure about cats. Maggie is housetrained and would probably recommend a home with older children (as she hasn't previously lived with small children). Maggie is available for rescue transfer OR adoption. Her adoption fee is $150 and she is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm negative. Please call or email with questions: 630-553-9256 or animalcontrol@Kendallcountyil.gov, or stop by the shelter to meet this adorable girl.
