Maggie came with Jack from California, then the adopter fell through, then she evaded unnecessary euthanasia before coming to us. Maggie is watchful, intelligent, and a ball fetching fiend. You wouldn't know she was 9. This girl will fetch for hours. Rain, snow, she doesn't care. She has such a strong ball drive, that she would rather fetch than just be pet. However, she does show affection when I sit in her kennel with her. She has likely just not had someone bond with her yet. Maggie deserves what she has never had, a forever home and person to connect with. She is fine with kids, but of course, proper manners around dogs is encouraged! She is dog selective, needs a less active dog, and is a bit more alpha.
