Maggie's Story

This little doll is 9 years old and weighs 7 lbs. Her owner passed away so she is looking for a new home that has a comfy couch to lay on and lots of toys to play with. Maggie is a wonderful little companion and loves her humans! She lived with another dog and a cat in her prior home but she is a little bossy with some dogs, so proper introductions will be important.

Maggie was not taken out much by her prior owner so she is nervous about going for walks and car rides but she is getting more comfortable. She is a voracious eater (which is good as she is a little underweight) and a good sleeper... once she is tucked in at night, she is quiet until morning. Maggie is pee pad trained but will also do her business outside.

Since she is a Maltese, she does not shed but her hair will grow and will get matted if not brushed regularly. She was a matted mess when she arrived so our groomer had to shave a lot of her hair off, but it's growing back beautifully!

Maggie has been fully vetted (spayed, dental with 6 extractions, microchipped, vaccines, exam, bloodwork, urinalysis, and fecal). Aside from luxating patellas, she is completely healthy.

If you would like to meet this little sweetheart, please complete an adoption application at WagsInn.com. Our adoption process includes a home visit, so potential adopters need to live within a 50 mile radius of WagsInn.
