Maggie's Story

Say hello to Maggie! Maggie hasn't had the easiest time since the middle of the summer. There was a devastating fire at her home, and with no place to live her family had to surrender Maggie, Duke, and Drew to the shelter. Drew is Maggie's puppy, and he came north in September and has been adopted. Maggie and Duke tested positive for heartworms, and they both had to wait for their treatment to be finished. Now it is their turn, and Maggie is excited to finally be ready for adoption. This resilient 2-year-old has patiently waited and is very happy as she poses for her new pictures. Maggie will be a ray of sunshine during the cold winter months, and she is excited to be a part of a family and live in a home again. Maggie is microchipped, current with her vaccinations, and has completed heartworm treatment. To make your New Year bright with this golden beauty, fill out a free application @ www.americanlabrescue.com. Maggie is ready to leave the sad past behind and start enjoying a new life. She is hoping that her future is with your family! If sunshine had four paws and a waggy tail, it might just look a lot like Maggie!

Duke has gotten a foster family and poor Maggie is still waiting. Her puppy and housemate have gone north, and she is still stuck in boarding waiting for her chance. She would love to be on the next transport, arriving in the Northeast on January 17th. Please consider opening up your heart and home so this sweet girl can find her family.

Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources Import License to Operate a Rescue Organization License #0071

State of Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management Certificate of Registration for Rescue/Category A License #0075

State of Connecticut Animal Importer Registration Number AIR.000.101
