Maggie's Story

Maggie is a 9-month-old border collie mix. She is a sweet puppy—very smart and easily trainable. Maggie is both crate-trained and house-trained. She has mastered the "sit" command and is currently working on "stay" and "come." She walks on a leash, although she still exhibits some typical puppy behaviors, such as pulling and occasionally tugging on the leash.

Maggie enjoys playing fetch with a tennis ball and loves to chase after a soft Frisbee. She has undergone a complete veterinary check-up, is fully vaccinated, and is on heartworm prevention medication. However, she does not seem to get along with cats, which is the reason for her rehoming. Although she has had limited interactions with other dogs, her few encounters have gone well after a bit of barking and playful behavior.

If you're interested in meeting Maggie, come to our adoption event on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11am-2pm, located at 6300 San Mateo NE in the south Sprouts parking lot.

Alternatively, we can arrange a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with a completed application.

Complete an easy, no-obligation online application and take the first step towards welcoming Maggie into your home by clicking on this link https://form.jotform.com/222028369049155

The $250 adoption fee covers all vaccines, spay, microchip, and heartworm/tick-borne illness testing.
