Maggie's Story

Hi, I am Maggie! I am 1 year old and have puppy energy. I love to play and wrestle with my foster brother. Squeaky toys are still a bit of a mystery to me, but I love a good chew treat or bone! I do well on car rides and walk well on a leash. I would love to join you on hiking adventures and soaking up the sun. I love to cuddle my foster mom and getting all of the attention. I am a show stopper and make friends everywhere I go. People ask to pet me and I will happily receive the attention. I am learning to cohabitate with cats but I am doing a good job. I am eager to learn with a treat or two. If you think I am your girl please contact Arctic Rescue. I can’t wait to meet my family. All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “yes” to “Needs Experienced Adopter.” This is because Northern Breeds typically have higher exercise, training, and care requirements than others. We recommend thoroughly researching the breed before pursuing adoption, if you do not have prior experience.

Arctic Rescue's Adoption Policy
HOW OUR ADOPTIONS WORK: 1) We require all adopters to fill out an online application at: https://www.arcticrescue.com/adopt 2) We are a Utah-based rescue. All potential adopters must come to Utah and meet the dogs. We do not transport dogs. 3) We want to make sure that your home is the perfect fit for one of our dogs and vice versa. We want all members of the family to be happy and well matched with each-other, so require families to do a phone interview, reference checks, meet dogs and pass a home-inspection before adoption.
