Maggie's Story
MAGGIE ADOPTION BIO
Located in Green Cove Springs, Florida at Shep Camp
Age 2 to 3 years old, Black and Red, Female
No Rental Homes
?Must have Fenced in yard preferably a Privacy Fence 6ft.

Rescue and Health:
Maggie was found stray and Rescued from a rural Florida Shelter. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, flea, tick, heartworm prevention, dewormed and microchipped. She arrived in Rescue with bad ear infections she is still in treatment maybe a chronic issue due to diet. She will have to be kept on a high quality food to prevent any possible future ear infections. Maggie is a small shepherd her normal weight is between 55 to 60lbs right now she is at 52 lbs.

Behavior:

Maggie is a great dog, very high energy and has a lot of spunk, she also has a mellow side to her and loves to just curl up by your feet while you relax on the sofa. Maggie would be great at Agility, frisbee sport, she is extremely fast and loves to play fetch with her foam balls, or chuck it ball. No Tennis Balls these are not good for any dog they result in bad teeth and she can easily chew one up we only play with high quality non destructive balls with her and with all of our Rescued Sheps. Maggie is a shy dog at first but warms up very quickly when someone engages with play. She can easily jump over a fence she would need supervision outside, as with any dog we don't allow dogs to go unsupervised during outside play time. Maggie is crate trained only had a few accidents in her kennel both were right after she was examined by our Vet, I am thinking this was a stress related incident. Maggie will bond very strong to her person she really needs someone that can devote time to her and continue on with her training. No small animals due to a very high prey drive, No small children she will knock over kids and she can become ball possessive around those she feels she can take advantage of. If you are looking for a great companion that loves to play but also loves hanging with you by your side, Maggie is the perfect match.

If you would like to Adopt Maggie and or if you need additional information please email direct luvgermansheps@yahoo.com or submit an online application via our website www.k-9services.net go to Adoption Information page.
An application needs to be completed and approved prior to arranging a meet and greet.

All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, spayed and or neutered.
