Meet Maggie
Hi, I’m Maggie!
I’m a 6 year old corgi and I weigh around 20-25 pounds. I like to think some of that is fluff since corgis can be fluffy dogs!
I used to be a breeder dog, so the world is still a little new and scary for me. I know hard to believe at 6 years old I’ve never experienced more than a crate! At first, I was really nervous around my foster mom, but now I can’t get enough of her! I just need a patient and loving home where I can feel safe and cozy, I promise I’m worth it!
One thing that I believe is a result of being a breeder dog is that I’m pretty friendly with other dogs since I was always around them. Big or small, I get along with them all! But the difference now is that I get to play with with all my new friends! It’s such a wonderful feeling! I’m not sure how I feel about cats yet though, I haven’t spent much time with them.
Oh, and guess what? I LOVE water! Yep, a Corgi who can’t resist splashing around! So if you like going on water adventures I would love to be your wing girl on all the adventures.
I’m crate trained, and I’m getting the hang of house life, but I’ll need a good routine to keep me on track. Once that’s in place I should be good to go!
Are you ready to put in the application yet? I’m spayed, up-to-date on my vaccines, and will have my health certificate. I can’t wait to meet my new family!
