Maggie's Story

Spend even a few minutes with Maggie and you feel more relaxed. Spend an hour and you feel calm, happy, good about the world. How does Maggie do it? Partly it's her own gentle manner. Partly it's the warm way she looks right at you. Maggie is approx 2-3 yrs old, loves her crate, loves her walks (fenced yard would be ideal for her as she does love to run as well) and she loves to ride in the car! Someone who works from home, a retired or elderly couple would be the perfect scenario for her as she likes to know you are nearby. She would prefer not to share you with other dogs (or kitties). She was heart-worm positive and just completed treatment and doing great! <br/>Before she came to us, Maggie had almost no human interaction and certainly no affection. But her sweet personality never shut down. She wants nothing more than to be next to you, watching television, being pet, taking a walk or just being outside enjoying the sunshine. A true Gem!
