Welcome Maggie! Mags was kept on a chain in all elements without proper shelter her entire life prior to being rescued by KYHPR. Maggie is still coming out of her shell but she is the sweetest girl! Understandably she is nervous and loud noises and sudden movements scare her.
Her left front arm is a little different due to a deformity but it doesnt effect her in any way. She does have a slight limp with her left back leg and she tends to hold it up when she runs as well. We wish we knew more about what caused these prior injuries but unfortunately we have limited information except that she needed us to survive. She does well in a crate! She is not fully house trained but we are learning! Same with leash training. She has a TON of energy and loves to play, so fenced yard is needed.
