Maggie's Story
Maggie is a sweet 1.5-year-old long-haired Dachshund mix. She came from a hoarding situation and is still building her confidence since she is not used to being around people, but she makes progress every day. Maggie would do best in a home with another friendly dog she can learn from and take comfort in so we are requiring a home with another dog.

She’s working on her house training skills will need a patient adopter who understands she’s still a work in progress. She needs plenty of trips outside to perfect her potty training so a fenced yard and/or someone who works from home would be best. With kindness, a good routine, and a canine buddy, we know she will become your new best friend.

NOTE: GA adoptions within two hours of metro Atlanta only
