No one came looking… but that just means her real forever person is still out there — and oh my goodness, she deserves them. <br/><br/>Maggie is fully potty trained, incredibly smart, and observant — always watching, always taking things in.<br/><br/>But here’s what you need to know:<br/>Maggie is very timid with new people and unknown situations. We don’t know her past, but we do know she’s selective with who she trusts — and that’s okay. She’s also incredibly strong-willed. She knows what (and who!) she feels safe with, and she isn’t afraid to set her boundaries. Because of that, she’ll need a home that truly understands her needs.<br/><br/>She’ll thrive best in a home with:<br/>•No children<br/>•Experienced, patient owners<br/>•Someone willing to visit her a couple of times at the shelter to build that initial bond<br/>•A person ready to guide her gently, help her grow, and teach her how to respond confidently to the world around her<br/><br/>Maggie is truly special — and absolutely worth every ounce of time you pour into her.
