Maggie's Story

Maggie is the sweetest, most gorgeous black and gold, small German Shepherd. She's 7 years old and around 50 pounds. Maggie is current on shots, spayed, and microchipped. She's also house and kennel trained. Maggie is fine with other dogs, but absolutely loves people. She's very eager to please them and will make an amazing companion. She's a bit hesitant to have a leash put on her, but walks well when on a leash.

Maggie is heartworm positive, but has no symptoms and is being treated with the slow kill method. APAC will continue to sponsor that treatment after she's adopted as long as it's done at Animal Medical Care in Temple.

If you feel Maggie is a good fit for your home, please submit an application. It's on our website, www.myhappytail.org.
