Maggie's Story
Say hello to Maggie, a beautiful 1-year-old pittie mix with a heart as big as her gorgeous soulful eyes. Maggie happened to walk onto the WagsInn property in the fall of 2024, and during her first vet visit we learned she was pregnant. Her puppies have been adopted and she's still waiting for her turn. Maggie might be a little shy when you first meet her, but don’t let that fool you — once she feels safe and comfortable, she blossoms into the sweetest, most affectionate companion you could ask for.

Maggie tends to bond more quickly with women and would thrive in a patient, understanding home that can give her the time and space she needs to warm up. Once she knows she’s loved, she’s all tail wags, snuggles, and happy zoomies! Maggie would likely do well with older kids in the home, although she hasn't spent much time with kids so far.

This playful girl gets along great with other dogs and would love a canine buddy to show her the ropes. Whether it’s a game of chase or a shared nap in the sun, Maggie is always up for some pup time.

During a recent weekend stay in a foster home, Maggie was a perfect angel. Although she was not familiar with her foster mama, she warmed up within SECONDS of walking through the door and was all cuddles. Maggie proved she was housebroken, crate trained and loved going for car rides! Maggie met the resident cats in her foster home and did well, although more time would be need to know if she's a cat lover!

She’s spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find a forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and part of the family. Visit our website wagsinn.com to complete an application!

**Due to our adoption process including a home visit, we do require that you live within a 50mi radius of WagsInn**
