I still love to run, explore, investigate every interesting smell, and show off just how athletic I can be. I may have some gray on my face, but my spirit is still full of life.<br/><br/>Im independent and quiet by nature, but once I bond with someone, my loyalty runs deep. I love keeping an eye on my people and making sure everyone is safe. Some might call me protective. I call it loving with my whole heart.<br/><br/>Im also pretty smart, if I do say so myself. I know how to sit, give paw, and Im always happy to learn something new if it means spending time with my favorite humans.<br/><br/>I get along well with other dogs, but I can be a little protective of my things, so Id do best as the only dog in the home. Id also prefer a calm home without young children. After everything Ive been through, Im looking for peace. A soft bed. A predictable routine.
