Madi's Story

Madi is a ten yr old stray from Tampa shelter. She was a possible hospice dog, but after a vet visit, the vet feels she is just a sweet ole girl with no evidence of being a hospice dog.<br/> She has some arthritis, minimal cloudy eyes, we are clearing up a uti, and she is scheduled for a dental on june 18. <br/> Over all Madi is a very low activity girl!! She loves walks, loves her dog bed, is great with people and other dogs. SHe is a manageable size at 40 pds, and has no trouble jumping into the car, going up steps or even running around the yard on those scarce occasions!!!<br/> If you are retired, looking for a quiet, low energy canine companion without additonal medical issues other than normal aging, please consider Madi!! She is a great no frills girl and will appreciate the kindness and loving care of a stable home life!!!!! FOstered in Bradenton and ready to go after the 18th!!!!.

Keep in mind that we do not operate on a first-come, first-served basis. In everything we do, we strive to put the dog’s needs and happiness first. Applicants should be at least 25 years old or older. We take each application on a per case basis. If you meet all of our other criteria, but are not yet 25 years old, we will process your application to see if we may still have a match for your family.
