Maddox's Story
Meet Maddox!

Now that Maddox has been with us for a little over a month, we're REALLY starting to see that personality shine through...and oh boy, is it a goofy one 🤦♀️

Maddox is a 7yo male pit bull mix that weighs in at just under 70lbs. He's a big boy and, like most big boys go, he's a tender-hearted, sweet summer child, sensitive soul. His face ALWAYS looks like he got caught doing something he absolutely should not be doing even though he's never done a single thing wrong in his life...ever.

A nervous boy at first, once Maddox is pretty confident that you aren't going to eat him, he's content to just plop next to wherever you are and hang out. That's not to say that he doesn't get the zoomies because he definitely does, especially outside...see photo evidence. His favorite past time is rolling around in the snow (or in the gravel for some reason). He's passionate about tennis balls, outside time, and butt/back scratches.

Maddox has some decent training under his belt and knows his basics (sit, stay, come, down, etc) and knows his name...and actually responds to it. He's actually remarkably good on a leash for his size and isn't prone to being pully unless he reeeeeally has to pee.

We're looking for an adult only home where Maddox can be the only animal. He isn't bad with other dogs but he doesn't really know how to act around them and he's...well, he's socially awkward. No aggression, just "mom, pick me up, I'm scared" energy.

Since he's a "restricted breed", you must own your own home or live in a home owned by a family member.

To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application. Once complete, you can email it to us at fpas1@foreverpaws.com or fax it to us at 508-677-9175.
