Maddie's Story

Meet magnificent Maddie. She is a very sweet, loving and petite 1.5 yr old beautiful dalmatian. This 47 pound love bug is long and lean and loves, loves, loves to play and run. She will romp with her foster home's dogs until she can play no further. She gets along well with dogs her size or bigger but not so much with smaller breeds.

Maddie's ideal home would be relatively quiet and calm, have no children under the age of 15, another dog to play with, and a good size yard. She is still young and will get into mischief if left alone without companionship. Maddie is not fond of loud noises or hectic households. She is active and gets the zoomies, therefore not best for homes with young children that could easily be knocked over.

Typical of the dalmatian breed, she is very loyal and aware of strangers and unusual home noise, alerting you to stranger danger. Maddie bonds very quickly to those who treat her with the love and care that every dog deserves. Miss Maddie gives you her heart and soul unconditionally. You will be her everything.

Her foster mom says she is going to be a hard one to give up. She will miss the daily and nightly cuddles from sweet Maddie. Miss Maddie loves to curl up next to you on your chair or sofa, and will steadfastly stay by your side. Maddie, like most dals, gains great comfort and security from her humans, quietly and gently sleep by your side, snuggling in under the covers. Dalmatians are notorious velcro dogs; wherever you are they will be too, glued to your side. Maddie demonstrates superiority in this dalmatian trait.

Maddie has been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations and house-trained. She knows basic commands and walks well on a leash.

Whoever adopts this delightful gal is getting a GEM, and will be rewarded with her sweetness and happy disposition. She is an A+++.

Maddie is shear perfection, with the exception of the 365 days of shedding. If you are looking for a dog that does not shed, dalmatians are not for you. You will be carrying and wearing dalmatian hair wherever you go.
