You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Maddie is a cute little Havanese in search of her forever family.<br/><br/>She was so terrified when she first arrived to rescue but is starting to figure out that life outside of a breeding kennel/facility can be pretty amazing.<br/><br/>She mingles so well with the other dogs in her foster home and would likely not know what to do without them. She is working hard on her house and crate training.<br/><br/>ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:<br/><br/>Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe - no invisible fences.<br/>Resident dog to help show her the ropes and boost her confidence.<br/>*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.<br/><br/>Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
