Maddi's Story

Maddie's Field Trip Adventure (ASC #92713)
From my point of view

Hi friends, I'm Maddie-and wow, today was the best day ever (100/10, obviously). I hopped into the car like a pro and rode along feeling calm and curious. Getting out takes me a little longer because of my lucky paw, but with some encouragement I've got it handled. First stop: the park! I practiced my sits and downs (did you know those get you WAY more cookies than jumping?), showed off my new "lucky paw" shake, and met some new friends. I had a few surprise zoomies in the grass-rocks aren't really my thing, but grass? Perfect. I'm watchful but calm around other dogs, reserved but friendly with people, and I can settle right at your feet when it's time to relax.

Then came Petco-oh my goodness, so many smells! I even picked out my very own bone. Back at the house, I explored the yard, conquered food puzzles (bouncing on them totally makes snacks come out faster), did some yoga snuggles, and took a well-earned nap. Later, I met some awesome teenagers at Dairy Queen and enjoyed a pup cup on the patio while greeting even more new friends. I might be quiet, but I love being out in the world-especially outside where I can watch birds and soak it all in.

I've been through a lot in my life, and you might notice my scars, my missing ear, or how I sometimes hold my lucky paw up when I sit. But don't let that fool you-I'm a sweet, silly, affectionate girl who's learned how to enjoy the good stuff. Loud noises can distract me, and sometimes I need a little alone time to reset (a shady tree works wonders), but mostly I'm happiest just being near my person. Give me treats, a cozy spot, and some outdoor time, and I'm your girl. Especially if there's a pup cup involved.
