Macy's Story
Meet Macy!
Macy came into the shelter September 29th surrendered by her owner who was unable to keep her in their yard. We believe it was that the yard was in need of some serious repair, we have had no issues with her at the shelter in our yards.
Macy lived with other dogs and has done well with other dogs we have introduced her to here at the shelter. She can be a little shy with new people but with not a lot of time, she comes out of her shell and will enjoy a pet and likely lick your hands clean. She has done really well on a leash. Far warning, when she is tired, she will plop down right in front of you and show you her belly as if to tell you “ok, I’m done rub my belly!”.
We think she is likely potty trained. She keeps her kennel clean and does seem to wait for her turn in the yard. She likes treats especially a kong filled with peanut butter and other snacks.
Come meet Macy today at the Alpine Animal Services Shelter, 2900 Old Marathon Hwy Alpine, TX 79830.
